About RagTag
Hi there, it’s Harry from RagTag Productions!
Welcome to RagTag; pre-production, recording and mixing for any form of rock music. From acoustic to indie, alternative to grunge and everything in between, RagTag is where any artist or band can come to capture their own unique sound.

Focusing on beginners, or musicians who are yet to have proper studio experiences, RagTag provides an opportunity to record - with a focus on capturing the best quality sound possible. Through discussion and experimentation, I aim for authenticity, and work hard to ensure the musician performs their best work. The aim is to capture the majority of the magic live in the studio! Furthermore, RagTag also mixes your recordings, as I believe being present for the recordings gives me an idea of the sound you are after, and I can work to preserve that in the polished results.

In my role, I am responsible for pre-production, organising recordings, setting up the studio, selecting the best equipment for your style, running the recordings and mixing the results. I believe in keeping the artists as involved as possible throughout the whole process, as it is their music I’ll be working with, and I want to respect that.

Through running various recordings in a number of locations such as studios, garages and even a chapel, I have gained a grasp of adapting to any situation, and always work hard to turn a potential hurdle into a uniquity that will leave a personal touch on the recording.

Discussion about ideas and sounds to aim for, experimentation in the studio with mic placements, acoustics & recording techniques, recording, overdubbing, mixing.

As my clientele is smaller, I can afford to focus a lot more on those I work with, resulting in a collaborative effort where I strive to understand exactly how musicians work and the sound they are aiming for.
